Alistair Griffin New version of "Is It Me"

A new upbeat "pop" version of Is It Me has just gone up on AGO MySpace - thats the 4th version of it I've heard so far, first time at Blakey, then at the Cloughie Concert at Middlesbrough, then the more dramatic Albion version on Purevolume (which is still up there folks!).

Personally, I would have liked the the new one better if I hadn't already heard the other versions, as it is a good song. I think the vocals are better on the Purevolume version, even though that one plods a bit and I wasn't so keen on all the sound effects. I think I will have to listen to them all a few more times before I finally decide!

I like this version. I know it's not everyone's bag, but it reminds me of what he did with it at Masham last year. It's nice to see him mixing things up a bit, and also shows that his songs are flexible and adaptable, which is good as it keeps things fresh. I'm all for a bit of experimentation!!...Bring it on!!
