What;s the plot of American Psycho II?

I heard that bale refused to do it; but some other people say he did make a number two ... and i was wondering if someone could give me a detailed explanation of what happened as I haven't been able to get hold of it anywhere!!

Okay, say I think I've worked it out: is Rules/Laws of Attraction kinda the sequel? Or just a spin-off, or is the sequel where one if his "surviving victims" (though I don't think he had any victims at all) basically becomes him??
