I didn't start liking her till she was on Angel. I liked Angel because it showed her evolution and growth as a character.

I liked her in Angel until she had sex with Connor!

yes but that wasn't actually cordy that did that.... was it? was that cordy or evil jasmine i'm always confused as to where the line crosses on that
anyways i loved cordelia in buffy from day 1 & did until she left but i also adore her in angel.... so in the end i picked angel because we get to see more of her & of course cangel :D

I never got the whole Cordy change of character...it seemed very sudden and unbelievable, as opposed to Wesley's gradual character change.
I never liked her on Angel--her relationship with Angel didn't help matters either, and I love her on Buffy, she's great. She's not even that shallow sometimes, she brings an element of realism that is sometimes needed I think. Know what I mean? On Buffy, she's from the "real world", and not concerned with demons and monsters and all that stuff. It's a good contrast.

I love both sides of Cordy, but Bitchy cordelia was just so funny to watch. Plus she was deep Cordy on Angel and this is a Buffy spot.

But I like shallow Cordy a lot better than Angel season 4, fake/evil Cordy.

the cordy change of character was brilliant, she still has the superficial cordy we all love right till 'your welcome'
and i think her and angel is a brilliant relationship, there are other that i like a lot more but when you think about it their the only relationship/ people who were right from the beginning and lasted right to the end

i loved her on both but the reason i started liking her was because of her character on buffy, so ill always prefer that but thats not sayin i dont like her development cuz i do out of all the characters on buffy and angel she definatly had the best development!

I love them both! I love the contrast of Cordy and the Scoobies, I love the Cordy/Xander relationship and the growth of her character over the course of Buffy but with the switch to Angel, Cordy grew up. She wasn't the rich girl anymore and the traits we started to see in Buffy (such as silently thanking Xander for the dress) emerge much stronger. Cordy plays off the characters she is set with and the contrast against Angel is a thing of beauty.

I agree to a degree (oh - I rhymed! so Lorne first night of me!), that her character evolved too fast but I understand the necessity of it. There were rapid changes but they also were careful to maintain her 'Cordyness' (it's like Owenosity, for Cordy!) with her jibes and one liners that, while fewer, are still present. Pair her against a threat to her inner circle and the Cordelia factor comes out in full force.

I think Deb got it right when she brought up 'Your Welcome'. It's the perfect example for me and brought Cordy back to where she belonged after the issues of season four. She's honest, she'll question you and make no mistake she has a mind of her own, but she understands that there is more to life than clothing and salty goodness.

While I loved how she started off in Buffy, the growth of her character in Angel was much more satisfactory. She grew up, its plain and simple, she realized that there's a big bad world out there, and that she had to face it (not talking about the whole OtherVerse). The only season I didn't like her in, was season 4, that whole idea irked me.

I also had a problem with, what the hell happened to her parents? Do they not care that she has to try and fend for herself?

ive havent seen that much of angel so im going with shallow you know i dont think she was even that shallow she was hilairious and at times brutally honest which i think was needed i think sometimes her being shallow was a cover up because as she gradually got more involed with the scoobies she become nicer i love her

On Buffy, but at the start of Angel was the best!

i loved her on both but she rely came my favorit on angel i loved that she cared for people but she was still her. her growth of her character was amazing!she still brutaly honest but in a more caring way. on buffy she was bait girl who screams alot. on angel she was the vison girl the fighter chick the mom with demon powers who seves you blood with cinoman in it. i love the angel and cordy relationship im cangel all the way and a spuffy. the jasmain crap wasnt her fault thought was doing good on going to a higher plain then was rulaly screwed. she came back on your welcome she was cordy again but she died and i cried and i have much emotion as a rock. shollow are deep she is still my favorit female character and drusilla

I liked both, but she was great on Angel. I didn't realize how much her character brought until they made her evil and I stopped liking the show nearly as much.

I like both but seeing her be all deep made her my favorite character in angel maybe in all of the buffyverse...maybe...well no because spike is my favorite but whatever she's still awesome.

They forced her to be "deep" on Angel. She cared about people..well, I think she cared in Buffy too...that doesn't make her a saint or whatever. I'm sorry, I'm all against this wonderful Cordelia on Angel people seem to love so much..It wasn't a natural development for me, it didn't feel like it. They made her the heroine of Angel because there wasn't one, not because she was.
