I like so many, but I suppose if I had to choose just one it would be J.S.Bach Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring. I think it is a perfect piece in its simplicity, melody and sentiment.

Thank you

Right at the top of my list perhaps a hair below Air On a G String. But they're really close.

I came here to say that too. Yes, Pachelbel's Canon is my favorite. I love how impressive it's melody. So harmonized and unforgetable.

At the moment it's Gustav Mahler's 5th symphony, but also Rachmaninoff's piano concert nr 2.

At this point, I will have to say that I adore Mozart's Requiem, especially the Lacrimosa, as I sang that in college. They played parts of it in "Elizabeth" -- so kudos to the director, even though he got most of her story wrong.

for some reason, that just gets me every time! i sang alto, & that was almost 20 yrs ago lol. you know, if you like vivaladi, have you tried telemann? same vein -- he's very relaxing. also, salirewri -- if you try cecilia bartoli's album on salieri, i really don't think you'll be disappointed.

I like all of the songs from Vivaldi's Four Seasons, and my favorite out of that is Winter. I've also liked Mozart's Eine Kline Nachtmusik since I was tiny. So many great pieces out there, it's hard to pick just one.

I can't really choose, because there are so many wonderfull pieces, so my favorite one changes from time to time. Now i would say that Dance of the sugar plum fairy by Tchaikovsky. Because it sounds really graceful, i love playing it.
