Classical Music Question

Any recommendations in classical music?

Recently I became really interested in opera and in classical music in general. There are plenty of the more famous pieces that I love, but I want to find more. The problem is that I don't know where to start. Do you have any recommendations for pieces, performances, musicians, singers or composers etc. I should check out? Thanks! <3 :)
