I have often been asked about the impact the HARRY POTTER films have had on my life. What's it like growing up in a film set? How have the films changed/shaped you? What's it like to be a celebrity? Have you missed out on a "normal" childhood? These questions and similar ones have preoccupied the world for many years. The simple truth is that I have nver known any different, and so what the world views as unusual is my normality, and I have loved every minute of it.
The cast and the crew of HARRY POTTER films had been my second family for half my life. I have gone from a young ten year oldto a man of twenty one years, and every film holds different memories for me, as each mark a transition along the way. And how many man my age can boast that they have speared a huge snake, nearly lost their lives playing chess, narrowly avoiding being eaten by a gargantuan spider, nearly fallen out of a flying car, fought a dragon, swam in the water for forty hours, dodged a dangerous maze, kissed a girl, kissed another girl (OK, maybe that isn't so unusual), and not to mention gone head-to-head with the most evil wizard in all time?
But most importantly, for me HARRY POTTER is all about the people. I have been privileged to have met and worked alongside the most creative and generous people in the industry. And I have met and made friends for life. I have learned so much as an actor and as a person throughout these ten years and this book is a tribute to them — thank you.

Harry woke with a start as Teddy’s cries pierced the small room. He groggily climbed out of the warm bed and stumbled over to the bassinet by the window. In the moonlight he could see that Teddy’s hair was bright pink. Chuckling to himself, he lifted the baby out of the crib and started over to the rocking chair.
He fed Teddy some warm milk.He stopped crying. Harry smiled, and Teddy smiled back.Harry put him back in the crib.Instantly Teddy fell asleep.
