I think that if maybe his parents survived that night, they could have been. He would have had a moron as a dad and a mom who is REALLY in love with another man. He wouldn't been raised by the best people. So the person that he turned out to be might be friends with Draco. Also who know if Lily would have left James for Snape.

I don't think they could ever be friends Harry and Draco, unless we start hypothesizing too much, which would make for two different characters that we don't know. In this case, there's too much hatred between them, but on top of that, I don't think Harry would want to be friends with someone like Malfoy. He proved that from the second he met him.

ummm...what are you talking about. Lily did love Snape. Thats why she couldn't get over the fact that he called her a mudblood. You have to read between the lines in the Harry Potter books.
