He is not a good person but he is not too bad to go to Azkaban. He is just a spoiled and ignorant boy. I often think he is a bit like Regulus Black. Both of them were raised by families who taught them stupid things about blood purity. They just followed their family's "philosophies." They never had the courage to rebel against them. Sirius Black on the other hand did have that courage and he was "smart" enough to not follow his family's traditions. Sirus Black's path is the path that both Draco and Regulus could have chosen since the beginning if they had wanted.

Well, I think that a few months there would change his behaviour... Remember that he almost have killed Ron and Katie and I guess he wasn't sorry because of that.

Draco isnt a bad person. I mean he is... but he proves in HBP that he doesnt have enough hate to kill someone.

He was sort of forced into it in a way. He wanted out pretty quick.
