Actually, I'd go for 4.5. It was WAY more than just "awesome" but it wasn't perfect, no book to screen adaption ever can be :)

I know this is off topic with the pick, but spikes_girl, I just wanted to say that the LOTR movies come pretty damn close to perfect. I can't rate HBP because I haven't seen it yet...I have to wait until Friday to seen it at movie theater in my town.

It was fantastic, but, they did leave out Dumbeldore's funeral...hence why I'm giving it a 4.=D

Ah you're right Jodie, can't believe I forgot them :) When I first saw them I hadn't read the books, but now that I have, I completely agree. Although because I watched the movies first I'm a little biased, I like them more :P

off topic, but a bunch of stupid kids walked out in the middle of the film, making such a racket and just being so immature shouting 'shit film' - i was so annoyed.

Not as bad, but when I saw it, just when Ginny and Harry were about to kiss some kid yelled "Ewww!" really loud which made everyone crack up, ruining the moment for me :(
But that sounds way more annoying! Idiotic kids :P

AWFUL!!!!!!! LEFT TOO MUCH OUT!!!!!!!!! and I know book to screen films are never perfect but this time they REALLY left TOO FRIGGIN' MUCH OUT!!!!!

Woohoo I finally saw it! It was awesome!!! I definitely wouldn't say perfect, but it was really really good.

The bad part was that there were a bunch of annoying kids sitting directly behind me and talking throughout the movie. Oh, and the damn uncomfortable seats.

the ending could have been a lot better

they could make a better effort, about some details that should've appeared :S
