I think Hermione's a better friend, but Rons HIS best friend.

I think Hermione is more of a best friend to Harry than Ron.

am i misunderstanding the question?? because to Harry, Ron would be his best friend... but Hermione's a better friend..

I think both of them are good friends to Harry. They have helped him in their own way. Hermione is obviously smarter than Ron, but that doesn't make Ron less valuable as a friend. She is mature and this makes her easier to be friends with. But friends do make mistakes, and Ron made a big one based on his own immaturity, insecurities and lack of confidence. But he realizes he makes a mistake and he comes back. I chose Ron in this pick because to Harry, Ron would definitely be his best friend.

They're both his friends, but i think more Hermione as Harry and her are always there to help each other. Example when Ron was going out with Lavender, Hermione was deeply upset and Harry helped her through it. Also in the Goblet Of Fire when Harry and Ron were arguing Hermione tryed to help and sort it out! :D

They are BOTH his best friends. Ron and Harry seem closer because they're both boys and are together more, but when it comes to BEING a best friend, Hermione is better because Ron gets jealous too easily. For example, how he didn't believe Harry when he said that he didn't put his name into the Goblet of Fire (although he did make up for it by staying at his side with the whole "You-Know-Who returns" thing). Hermione is a better friend, but Ron and Harry are together a lot more and their both boys. If you ever asked Harry this, I think it would be a hard decision for him, but he would eventually pick Ron just because they're always together. But Hermione has always been there when Ron hasn't.

So, I'm not gonna choose :)

Harry & Hermione are good friends, but its obvious in the books that Ron & Harry are Best Friends. :)

I think that even if Harry's best friend is Ron, Hermione is a better friend because she was with Harry till the very end but Ron sort of let Harry down. So Hermione should be Harry's best friend but Harry's best friend is Ron because they are both boys and not very serious but Hermione is more serious

They both are, but who walked out on Harry in the Deathly Hallows? Ron. And who got in a mood with him in the Goblet of Fire? Ron.
Therefore, I think, even though Ron is a guy, and Harry can relate to him more, Hermione is a better friend, and his best friend.
