Alan is just perfect. Also i think David Thewlis, Ralph Fiennes, Imelda Staunton and Tom Felton were all very suitable.

I love almost all of the actors, but his role seems INSANELY hard! I would totally crack up every five seconds with some of the lines he has! XD lol

I'm glad Alan said yes he will take the part. Alan does a great job no matter what he does. Also Jason Isaacs played really well as Lucius Malfoy.

Alan is perfect.. absolutely perfect. You couldn't have a better Snape. His voice! *swoon* Everything, the way he moves, every mannerism...he's perfectly quietly dramatic, and sarcastic, the subtle sense of humor.. just a perfect pick. SO SEXY. <3

Actually, I think nearly everyone is portrayed really well. The makers did a great job choosing the actors/actresses. Ron, Hagrid, Molly and Bellatrix are the runner-ups to best choice of actor/actress, for me. Sirius is a lot different than I imagined him, but he's not bad. Moody was quite a surprise as well. He doesn't look or act anything like I imagined him. He's not bad - I prefer the Moody in my imagination, but I'm not complaining. I was, however, somewhat disappointed with Dumbledore. They portray him only as a great wizard and leader. What about the fun, whimsical side to him? His idea of a "few words" being "nitwit, blubber, oddment, tweak"? Candy names for passwords? He was just so adorable in the books! We didn't see that side at all. I also missed the old Dumbledore, Richard Harris, rest his soul. Michael Gambon is too harsh.

I picked Alan Rickman as Severus Snap because he is absolutely amazing as Snape. But I also love Tom Felton as Draco. He did an absolutely fantastic and amazing job in HBP.

omg this question was so hard, i love basically all of the characters! but i think alan rickman did a great job with snape, i would have cracked up with most of his quotes haha

Anyone can play a weird, quirky character. But no one IS Luna. Evanna Lynch is so much like her - she seriously is Luna. No one else could play her. Alan Rickman would be next. He is perfect for Snape. Rowling told him that Severus loved Lily so he could play his part better. I am so freakin' jealous. And Tom Felton as Draco Malfoy, too. He is pretty superb.

Oh Alan....... I don't think I could imagine anyone else play Severus Snape now. Not after what Alan did with the character.

Alan is just amazing and everything about the way he plays the character screams Severus. His voice, his air of sarcasm and scathing wit, and it's (unsurprisingly) been made a sexy character by him! I can't imagine anyone else playing that part. At all. :)
next would be Tom, and then Jason, and Helena, and Gary, and David, and then the trio. :)

Aw, must you include so many? I can't possibly choose. I absolutely adore Alan, but I also think Tom, Helena and Evanna did brilliantly (though I'm not sure if Evanna can act or if she's just a very Luna-ish person). Rupert wasn't bad either.

Almost all of them are but I just think Evanna Lynch is the perfect Luna right down to her dreamy voice. She's seriously is LUNA :D

I'm glad this was a popular choice. I wanted to pick Dumbledore, but a Richard Harris option wasn't there and I don't like Michael Gambon's Dumbledore.

What makes him the best that he's really annoying as Snape and it makes you want to hate him. Bu then that's what Snape's supposed to be. lol

You think so? Well, I agree that he's a perfect Snape, but I don't find him annoying at all and he makes me want to love him ;D.
