Harry was sticking his nose where it didn't belong, I think Draco's actions were justified. It's not like it couldn't be fixed.

Well the thing is that Draco was a confused and furious teen in book 6 being branded, his family being at threat, for his own fear. Harry did get Draco's dad into prison and his family in trouble. He and Harry were always enemies and Harry, too, always kicked at him - maybe not literally, but that doesn't mean it can't hurt as much or even more than doing literally so. I'm not sure, I wouldn't have done the same to someone like that.

It wasn't harsh. Harry got him back when he used Septumsempra on him.

But Draco was pressured by a lot of people to kill Dumbledore
his dad was in prison
don't you think he might of been a bit stressed?
anyway it's not as harsh as harry using sectumsempra on draco

I think that it's totally harsh 4 Draco 2 do that.
1. Draco didn't have 2 brake his nose! >:(
2. Draco tried 2 kill Harry 1 in the bathroom!

i always thought it was wierd though that draco would choose to do something non-magic to harry, when throughout the whole series is was so fast to show is magical status.. but it was really just fair digs and harry did kinda deserve it.. lol.. but i still thought draco would do something better for revenge.. so maybe not harsh but definately abrupt.. lol

He didn't exactly deserve it, but Draco is 'evil' or at least is trying to be.

So spying around deserve physical violence. Nice world we live in. Harry didn't deserve it. You can also TALK to people.

I can understand why Draco did it, considering all the emotions he was toiling inside him. I think it was completely in character for Draco to do so. Harry and Draco had always been violent (physically and verbally) to each other, so I understand Draco got pissed when he found out Harry followed him and was listening in on his conversations.

That does not make what Draco did any less harsh.

It was absolutely in character for Draco to do such a thing, especially since this is Book 6, and he's got his assassination of Dumbledore to carry out. Harry's always sticking that nose into other people's business; how did Draco know Harry wasn't going to go straight to Dumbledore and tell his target everything he'd heard? I would have thought it odd if Draco hadn't done something like that to him. But that's just me.
