How does the character of ''when they cry'' get revive after their Death ?Is their any time loop?

I haven't seen this in a while, but I know that Rika has the ability to go to parallel universes. She is trying to find a world in which she does not die...I think, so the characters aren't being revived. You're just watching a completely new dimension unravel.
