Jon & Kate Plus 8 Question

Et tu, Brute? What's wrong with the producer's integrity and Gosselin loyalty?

I found the Jon and Kate Gosselin program by chance. I have thoroughly enjoyed catching up on past episodes between new episodes. My husband and I enjoy the children's expressions, energy, and their parents' delight when they see kindness between their children. They openly express gratitude for the gifts (monetary and blessings) they receive and for others to take issue with their fortune seems jealous and unkind to me. That said, I was upset by the finale teaser that showed two clips of parental discord and insinuated that Jon and Kate were having trouble with one another. While I was relieved that the issue was not in the marriage, I thought it unfortunate that the show's producers, who actually know this family, would betray Jon (who was clearly saying he is uncomfortable with losing his anonymity on days when they are not filming) by falsely hinting that he is questioning his partnership which would fuel rumors for drama-hungry weirdos. The Gosselins are not the Kardashians.

give me a break, that was intentionally done strictly for boosting the ratings. this so called "reality tv" is anything but. ask yourself how long can you keep people watching, it is supposed to be so real. then why do you have to edit the season finale to make it appear there is trouble in their marriage? that was all a big teaser to get more people to watch that show, and jon & kate are totally aware of that and play into it. they are just trying to keep the ratings up. the fact is this "reality tv" is anything but, it was entertaining when it was new but now it is just acting, they will continue to do anything to try to keep people tuned in. enough already.

Totally agree. This is not reality. The children a screaming and hitting one another. Kate is screaming as usual maybe more so. The show is not CUTE anymore. When they went to St. Judes they were passing out books, were they books that pertained to the show? Were they do marketing of their show?
