The Avengers (or as it's known here in the UK 'Avengers Assemble') **** The script worked well in giving each of the Avengers enough screen time and kept the humour going without seeming to be trying to hard. Stark, Dr Bruce Banner/ Hulk, Natasha Romanoff/ Black Widow and Agent Coulson stole the show for me. In my opinion, definitely worth seeing more than once!

So very Tennessee Williams, so rich in atmosphere with a flawed yet strong heroine who really captured my heart. No one will ever love me. But you could get used to me.

I watched 'The Black Swan' today. It's decades before the 2010 film 'Black Swan' and a completely different genre, so don't get the two mixed up! It was definitely an EXCELLENT ****

Not as bad as I feared it would be but nowhere near as good as the book. It was pretty much a watered down version.
