Can someone help me?

Ok, one of my sister's bestfriends had died last year. I cried for him too although I only saw him once and never spoken to him. He helps my sister whenever she needs him (yes, as a spirit) like for example, she was visiting his grave but didn't know where he was because they hadn't yet put a gravestone there but my sister didn't know that and she had a strange feeling of this one spot in the ground (which we found out later on is where he was buried) she asked him to show her where his grave was and everytime she got closer to that one spot it would start raining and the rain would get harder and harder the closer she came, and just stuff like that.

so my question was, is that lately i've been feeling some sort of presence aswell, and yesterday me and my friends were talking about him and i started crying. could it be that he might be watching over me aswell as my sister?(me and my sister are really close) not all the time though because there is another spirit in my house too (a friendly one that lets the cats in the door lol) plus he might want to know what kind of person i am. dos anyone have some sort of explanation?

personally,I don't communicate with anything other than prayer. There's alot out there and I don't want to play with fire.

My next feeling, I have been a paranormal investigator for over three years now, and in my research have not encountered one instance that a loved one stayed behind just to watch out for ones left here. A safe suggestion to find out, get a good digital recorder and try some EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena) ask questions like can you tell me your name, are you _____ (The Sisters Bestfriend), and are you here to protect or harm me. After reviewing the tapes you should get your answers. Remember, spirits are unpredictable. You might not get anything on the first attempt, but don't give up, the spirits will answer when they feel the time is right for them to answer. Also be very carefull, as the other comment read, you can also invite other entities in. Including demons.
