“One, two Freddy’s coming for you...” Welcome to Springwood’s very own psychiatric hospital, Westin Hills Asylum. If you are here and your not a doctor, nurse or orderly odds are you know of a man in a dirty red and green sweater and a dirty brown hat, that’s badly burned and has knives for fingers on one hand. Some know him as Freddy but, mostly he’s thought of as the boogieman.
There is one thing however that all the teenaged patients have in common at Westin Hills besides the fact Freddy is after them. They all have a hidden power that can protect them from Freddy if they unite and use them all together if they go at it alone however they are guaranteed to fail. The chances of failing are still iminate as Freddy tries to hunt them down one by one in their dreams. Why are they in a asylum? You might ask. The plain truth of it is their thought of as crazy and suicidal thanks to several of Freddy’s murder attempts.
