Well, some people believe that a person can have more than one true love. Maybe that has to do with timing. In the beginning, Lana and Clark were sort of like a true love, which is probably what Clark needed at that time. Then as he grew older, he couldn't quite let go. So entered Lois, his next true love. The scene when Lana absorbs the kryptonite will always be that letting go scene for me. I think it was so powerful and showed how strong she was. Also, he helped push Clark to Lois, which was a really good end relationship for Clark.
Don't know if that makes sense. Just felt like typing. :) Anyway, I personally loved Lana and Lois with Clark. I just chose Lois because that's where Clark ended up and he was so happy with her.
