Torn between Jason and Pete but I chose Jason because I felt his storyline was just forced out at the end of Season 4, it seemed like Lana & Jason were never in love or had any kind of relationship...
Of course I would've wanted Pete to stay longer cause I loved him as Clark best friend but in another view, I think he left at the right time.

I think Pete should have stayed longer he was so awesome plus he was Clarks best friend it was sad when he left.......I miss him but he did come back once in the episode Hero it was cool. I didn't pick Jason or Whitney cuz I was glad 2 see them gone. I didn't like Whitney cuz he was mean most of the times...and I liked Lana with Clark instead of Jason or Whitney

Pete was just a real friend for clark in the first season.After that he was just all jeaulous around Clark.You can even see that in the episode of season 7 when he came back to an appearance.In that episode I get 100% sure that the best thing was him just leave.

I loved Pete in the first two season and I wish that he had been in some more. I hated the episode when he came back later in the show though. It seemed like he didn't like Clark anymore and was only thinking about how he was always under his shadow. I just wish that they had gone in a different direction with Pete's character. Clark didn't have a best friend that was a guy again for a long time and that is sad. Oliver was probably my favorite best friend for Clark. He was never jealous of Clark even though he didn't have his powers.

All three but Pete started to get annoying.
