I had to add Allen Alvarado to this list (one of my personal picks for Jamie) because all the other choices are way, way too old! Jamie is barely 14 in the book and all the actors listed on here are 17-19 years old.

I have a brother who is 15 and a few cousins who are 18-19 and there is an obvious difference in height, looks, and voice depth between those ages. If they cast a 18-19 as Jamie all the parts with Melanie holding and babying Jamie will be very creepy.

Definately Skander Keynes. Jamie is the kind of kid that needed Melanie, and I can picture Skander whining a little and sleeping next to her. All those "attractive" fellas up there are way to developed and hot to be cuddling up to whoever plays Mel while trying to look innocent. And the rest of them look too young. Skander looks like a whiny, lanky teen. He works. And JUSTIN BEIBER SUCKSS!

Jamie is supposed to be young and dark complexion. I think Jake Austin seems the closest to Jamie. Also, he already has experience playing the little brother role. He is also only 15.
