Does anyone know how to download from mod the sims 3?

I know how to download from TSR but they don't have skins so I'm wondering how I can download off of Mod The Sims 3.

2. Read on their site how to install mods here: link
3. Find a skin you like and follow the instructions to install it and then voila! :)
