Jason and Piper were by the fire. Piper looked deep into Jason's eyes. How did he look so good after going through soooo much? She doubted she looked as good. While she was thinking, she didnt even notice Jason inching forward until his lips were on hers. Her heart was thumping so loudly she could barely contain it. She leaned in further but Jason pulled away. "I remembered last night." he said. Giddily, Piper asked, "Remembered what?" He sighed and replied, "That Reyna's my girlfriend." She had planned the talk in jer head where Jason told her he had a girlfriend, but now she had no words. She looked away. "But Pipes I'm not the same man. I'm changed. And now I don't love Reyna, I love you. I love the way you look after a fight and I love your braids. I love the way you always lean towards me and inch closer to me. I love you." Piper smiled and whispered, "Reyna who?"

Fire in his hands
Love in his heart
Pain in his eyes
Trouble about to start
Moving in rome
Finding his home
On the outside
Though he feels so alone
All the joking and laughter
Justbhides the pain
It hides all thenpain
That keeps him sane
He looks to his hands
And sees the flame dancing
He sits wishing
Wishing he could be special
You might say hes special
But he doesnt think so
Fixing everyones problems
Instead of his own
Feels like an ousider
Abandoned, and cold
Lost and lonley
Afraid and alone
He wants to fit in
To be a subject of power
But he just slides back down
Like nothing.
Though he isnt nothing
He is a special guy
And if you look him in the eye you will see
That all he wants is to be happy
And to remain that way for eternity.

Some critical points in the development of Rick Riordan's manipulative writing style are easily apparent in the Mark of Athena. The majority of the plot consistently backs up my past theories, (see my article Rick Riordan) and manages to suggest that Rick holds even more control over his readers minds than I had ever imagined.

Strategies Used To Keep Readers On Their Toes:

1. Increase in tension between characters

2. Added complications to plot

3. Withholding information for future surprises

4. Cliffhangers

5. Frustrating moments and characters to give the reader a stronger emotional standing

I have new theories on who's going to die and other MoA stuff.

I don't know about you readers, but I read the finished 1st chapter. I also checked the official book cover.

Okay first the chapter. This will have spoilers so if you didn't read it then, GO READ IT NOW AND COME BACK!
"She felt it again-that familiar shiver, as if a psychotic snowman had crept, and was breathing down her neck"(Riordan 6-7).

This can have some meanings I guess. What I pulled out of this was that Khoine was going to make an appearance. Anybody remember that nice evil goddess? Because I do.

The Trouble with Girls, and How Percabeth May Destroy the World

Situation
Show of hands, who loves Percy and Annabeth as a couple? Most people, though not all.
What I like about them is how they’ve always known each other, they always will. They’re best friends one second and the next they’re trying to strangle each other- but you know they still love each other. They’re opposites and they complete each other, and they know each other best: always will. One more thing: they will do anything for each other.

    So could...

Percy's last meeting with Juno went like this:
Juno warns Percy that Annebeth might be a setback in saving Rome.

Hm, a bit suspicious. No way that's mere coincidence.

And Ella's prophecy did say something about the Mark of Athena.

On top of all of this, the cover of the book "Mark of Athena" is quite scary aswell.
It depicts Jason with his Imperial Gold gladius riding Tempest (the horse he had tamed in the run-down mansion) on a cloud of thunder and lightning charging Percy who is holding Riptide riding on Blackjack on waves of water with an owl (the literal emblem of Athena) in the background.

The heroes of Olympus the house of hades

Percy

As long as we're together…

They were still together, but for how long, Percy didn't know.

Percy's free hand grappled at the air, while his other hand clung to Annabeth's sweaty, pale hand, as the world around him got darker and darker, and the light above them, marking his friend's silhouettes got smaller until it was only a tiny pin point, and then it was gone.

A feeling of freefall was not a new to him. But the feeling of freefalling into Tartarus, the endless cesspool of evil, was entirely new. Percy wasn't one of those daredevils that went sky...

At the end of Percy Jackson and the Last Olympian Rachel became the new Oracle and made the new great prophecy

"Seven Half- Bloods Shall Answer the Call"
"To Storm or to Fire the World Must Fall"
"An Oath to Keep With a Final Breath"
"And Foes Bear Arms to the Doors of Death"

Now there has been a lot of great ideas for this prophecy and I'm just going to put them here or at least as much as I can remember.

Ok the first line "Seven Half-Bloods Shall Answer the Call" ok the call could mean Pan but thats all over ever since the battle of the Labryinth so it could mean Grover seening as he's a member...
