Candice King Welcomes First Child with Husband Joe: See The Adorable Photo! 

It’s official: Candice King is one happy mama!

star announced the safe arrival of her beautiful baby girl, via Instagram, on Monday, January 25. Along with an adorable photo of her daughter’s tiny feet, the ecstatic new mom shared the infant’s full name and date of birth — January 15, 2016.

This may be the actress’s first child with 35-year-old husband Joe King, but she’s had plenty of practice doting on the Fray guitarist’s two daughters,  Ava and Elise, from a previous relationship. After a romantic proposal in Florence, Italy, back in May 2013, the lovely couple tied the knot in a traditional New Orleans ceremony in 2014. Then, in July 2015, they announced that they were expecting the arrival of Baby King in the sweetest way imaginable. Check it out:

And lest anyone forgot, little Florence is blessed in more ways than one — quite literally by Pope Francis himself! “My husband’s band was performing for the big event in Philadelphia, so I was honestly just there to support him — and we had this great sort of happenstance opportunity to say hello to the pope,” Candice told Alloy Entertainment in October 2015. “Joe very excitedly asked the pope if he would bless our baby, and I can’t believe he didn’t drop his phone and was able to take pictures while he was shaking. It was literally an incredible experience and a great honor, and I’m sure it’s our party story we will be telling till we’re very old and in our rocking chairs one day.”

Aw, talk about a wonderful occasion! Major congratulations goes out to the King family on their bundle of joy, and we can’t wait to see more precious photos of their newest addition!
